TEHRAN – Through liberation of Aleppo, Syria “broke the neck” of arrogant powers including the United States in the Middle East, the Strategic Research Center of the Expediency Council has said.

Ali Akbar Velayati described the resistance victory in Aleppo as a turning point in the history of the ongoing wars in the region, IRNA reported on Tuesday.

He went on to say that “Syria constitutes the golden link in the chain of resistance against the Zionists and their supporters.”
